The Rainier Valley Rowing program has been made possible in part by grants from the Seattle Foundation, the Charlotte Y. Martin Foundation, the Neighborhood Matching Funds, the Rickie Rudine Memorial Fund, the Windermere Foundation, the Aldermere Foundation, and the Northwest Rowing Council.
Sponsors one RVR participant for an entire year, providing everything they need for success including coaching, mentorship, regatta travel and program fees, swimming lessons, transportation, and a uniform.
Provides coaching and mentorship for one month
Sends the entire RVR program to a local regatta
Scholorships one rower for one season of rowing
Teaches one rower how to swim
Provides uniforms and workout gear for one rower
Buys one day of healthy snacks for 20 RVR athletes
